  1. I was convertin [nm]RedDragon.ts.avi with Vdub, and it stopped, sayin
An unknown error occured (may be corrupt data). Error Code - 100.
I did a search in the forum for the same problem and someone had the same prob, someone replied to tell them to use the "scan video stream for errors" but no further instructions, so if someone knows the next step to fixing the problem, i'd be most grateful!

  2. Download this version of Virtualdub (scroll down to the Mp3_Freeze version):
    http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/virtualdub.html

    File > Open > Movie.avi > Video > Check For Video Freezes

After this process is doen (takes a while) a window will pop up and tell you how many and what number are bad frames.
    Use this guide to help:

You may also need this (although I don't personally use it)

Is it not easier to just choose "Direct stream" on both video and audio in Virtual Dub and save it to a new AVI file?

Depends on the extent of the corruption.
