Hello everyone,
I'm new to the world of VCD creation and needs all the help I can get.
I'd like to scan some photographs and make them into a slide show (includes audio) then burn it to VCD format to be played using a VCD player. Can someone give me a step-by-step guide on how to do so?
I've read some guides from this site but am still confused. The following are my questions:
1) What is the resolution should my still pictures (jpegs) be scanned at/resized to?
2) I have a software (ShowBiz 1.1) that provides some nice transitions and I can generate AVI and MPEG-1 files from it.
a) What are the settings (frame rate, resolution, quality etc) that I should use for AVI?
b) I definately know I need to use PAL format for the MPEG-1, what other settings should I use (frame rate, resolution, quality etc) ?
3) I have downloaded the TMPGEnc software, where does it fit into this process ie, when to use it?
4) I use Nero as a burning software. Does it work for VCD creation? What are other considerations when burning a VCD?
Thanks in advance for your reply.![]()
