    Hi guys,

    I have some differnet bit rates of windows media video file. I want to convert them to good MPEG2 format for later burn into SVCD or DVD.

    What is the best software i can use to convert and codec.
    What is the best setting in can use to get the good quality of MPEG2.

    You really should read this.
    It is very explicit and guides you through the steps of how to use the wizard in TMPGE as well as the maximum bitrate you can acheive for your movie length.This link explains it a lot better than I can.
