  1. I've just finished burning an svcd movie I encoded with DVD2SVCD and CCE. It starts off fine. However about half way through playback I start to get picture breakup. The longer the movie goes on the worse the picture breakup gets.

The same thing happens on both my PC and my DVD player.

    Any suggestions please.

  2. A few questions:

    1) What exactly do you mean by "picture breakup?" Describe it with more detail.
    2) What kind of player do you have?
    3) Am I right in assuming you ripped a DVD using DVD2SVCD or did you convert a PVA or MPEG?
    4) How many minutes was the movie and how many CDs did it come out on?

  3. By picture breakup, I mean, I'll start getting coloured blocks appearing all over the screen. I converted an avi file using DVD2SVCD to SVCD format.

I think it may be a media issue though. I initially burned the file to a rewritable CD. However I've since burned the image to a normal cdr and it seems to be playing ok now.
