  1. First of all i'd like to say hello to everyone, i'm a newbie at this, so bear with me. I'm trying to use tmpgenc to encode a movie i downloaded on kazza. I've downloaded the lastest version of tmgenc, when i go to open up the file(movie) tmpgenc tells me that it "cannot open or unsupported". This only happens when i try to open file in video, trying to open in audio is no problem. Is there something that i'm missing, or need?
Or something i'm not doing right? Please help

  2. What format is the movie? Did you check to see if it will play on WMP or another player? The file may be no good.

  4. Try installing Nimo Codecs Package 5.0...see if that works because I think you don't have the right codec thus the video is not being recognized by TMPGEnc Video Options. !!

    Hope it works...

  7. I am having problems with this software too. How come when I tired to encode this Windows Media Audio/Video file into MPEG, it says illegal MPEG video stream? But it works fine when I encode an .avi file.

  9. Converting a WMF is sometimes harder than a divx - it's not a matter of codecs. Read up on it.
