    Ok, I used DVD2AVI extract the audio as usual, but now I want to extract a portion of the audio (specific song) to make it an MP3. I tried Goldwave, but I get like a blank output from it. I dunno

    its a ac3 file -- you would have either convert the ac3 to wav and edit the wav file , edit the ac3 file directly and convert to mp3 , convert ac3 to mp3 and edit the mp3, or just play the dvd on your computer and use the recorder in goldwave and record it as its playing for that one song or two ...

    ac3 -> wav or mp3 = use besweet
