    i have converted a divx-file to vcd with Nero.
    I hear the sound but the picture is black.
    Any help ?

    If i try to do it with TMPGE , i get the errormessage : unsuported file

    Have you tried to convert to VCD format with TMPGEnc's templates?

    it is TMPGE that gives me the 'unsupported file'.

    And make sure the Direct Show is at the highest priority.

    Maybe this will work

    I use TMPGenc 12a (older version) and open the Divx in this program.
    I convert it to a VCD (I use VCD-pal at a framerate of 25 fps). This done with the template (In the bottom click at load). After that you can use it as a "normal" VCD-file and can you burn it. The newer versions of TMPGenc don't support the DIXV-format

    Maybe the older version of TMPGEnc will work, but I take exception with the statement it does not work with DivX. I use it with DivX files all the time, normally and frameserving.
