I serched the forum but could not manage to find a similar issue posted before.
Well her is the issue : In summary, I have been using Win 98 SE, a noname firewire PCI card (NEC chipset), Sony DCR PC110 MiniDV camcorder. When I connect the camcorder to PC via firewire, PC dedects it (I can see the cam in device manager). But when I run the capture software (I tried many of them), the software displays an error or simply can not dedect the camcorder. So I cannot capture the video. As I can capture the video with my laptop(Win2k), I am sure that both the camcorder and the cable is OK.
I will appriciate for any recomendation.
Cheers,
