  1. Can anyone help me please!! I converted a DivX movie in ac3 format to mpeg with Tmpeg encoder, but first I ripped the sound into a wav file with VirtualDub, so I got two different sources, one for video and one for sound, if I don't do this with ac3 movies Tmpeg encodes without sound. But when the encoding into the mpeg file is finished the movie is fine but the sound is really bad, it's like it has hickups So can anyone tell me if there is another way to do this....thanxx...

I presume the wav file doesn't have "hickups". As the audio encoding of TMPGEnc is not so good, it might be better for you to use Toolame (available in the tools section of this website) or integrate it into TMPGEnc as an outside encoder. I have found the sound much better since using this software.
There is a good guide here http://www.flexion.org/audio/toolame/tmpgenc/
