What kind of file is it, are your Nimo Lite Codecs installed, and is DirectShow set at the proper priority?
    Hello.

  3. It's a .dtv file...dunno what Nimo Lite or DirectShow is. Nothing was ever mentioned about either of those in the tutorials.

    KoG6025,
What is a .dtv file? I'm not exactly new at this, but I've never heard that file extension being applied to any kind of format. Is it some proprietary file format created by your capture software? If you want some help your going to have to post more details about you computer configuration. Specifically your capture hardware/software and where this file originated. Is it home brewed or something you downloaded off the net?

    KoG6025,
Thanks for clarifiying the dtv thing....lol. What version of DVD2AVI are you using? Some people have been reporting problems with v1.77.3 and the fact that TMPGEnc can't read read the project file. My suggestion to you would be to revert back to v1.76 and recreate your project file then try and run it thru TMPGEnc. Also make sure the "Register TMPGEnc.vpf to VFAPI" is checked under the options tab.

  8. My DVD2AVI is version 1.76...and it says VFAPI Plug-in under the Help menu so I'm guessing it's installed.

check and or re-install your mpeg2 codecs (install powerdvd)
make sure your dvd2avi.vfp is in both directories (Tmpegs & dvd2avi)

    good- luck
