Im having trouble converting AVI to Mpeg with TMPGEnc?

Im new at making vcd's and i just got final fantasy on avi file. So when i tried converting it to vcd with TMPEnc, i keep getting a green blockage on some scenes, it gets worse and worse. Is there anything i can do, the file takes about 4 hrs because i have a slow video card, but i dont mind about, just need to know how to get rid of it or i need to use another program. Also when i want to convert to SVCD, it says that the mpeg-2 trial exspired? what does that mean and if i need a registration where can i get it?

Try an older version of tmpgenc. I can't remember the URL, but if you want the one I use, post your email here and I will send it. The old ones work better for some people and have no restrictions.
