I Ripped sevral DVD movie's and used DVD2AVI to get the dv2 and the ac3 files.
I used the force film option under video settings so I woundn't have to worry about interlace problems with TMPEGnc.
Then I recoverted to DVD using TMPEGnc plus 2.5.
I recoverted to 4:3, Slow best quality, 720/480, 29fps, 4000 cbr,layer 2, 48000Hz, 384 kps, and 10 bits.
The source was ntsc so I just kept it the same.
I got a mpeg2 file 3.4gigs in size after coverting and it plays great in windows meadia player and in my power DVD player.
But after I used ulead DVD factory to author and burn the MPEG2 file to DVD-R and play it on my stand alone player the audio either skips or is way out of sync.
This only happens after authoring and burnung.
I have used used these programs before and got great resultz.
I think the problem might be that I used the force film option and then recoverted to 29 fps.
I tried to ecovert the MPEG2 file back to 24fps and author and burn using ulead DVD factory but I got a fickory picture but the audio was in perfect sync.
Anyone have any Idea's on what I can do here?
Thanks all who read and reply.
