    I have downloaded a movie (AVI) and it is on my HDD as a "video clip"
    I can't get it to play on dvx or Windows media etc. How can I watch it, and how do I convert it to MPEG 1 ?

    Try downloading and installing the Nimo Lite Codecs from this site.

    I'm still getting a black screen. The bar is moving along but no sound or picture. Iv'e tried divx and w/media.

    Thanks, I have now downloaded another movie which is working ok. I think the first one must have been faulty. thanks again.
