I'm trying to capture some camcorder tapes to my hd to convert to vcd, but i only get the video and no audio. I can hear the audio when its capturing but its not in the avi. I have followed the "how to" proceedure on the left, and tried the suggestions at the end of the section with no joy. I'm using a hauppage win-tv premio fm card and a soundblaster live! card.
If i don't get our wedding video done she'll divorce me! HELP!!!

Hi,
I had the exact same problem, audio & vid when watching but no audio when saved. Turned out i need to goto the creative recorder off the start menu and tell it to record from line in instead of the microphone. Isn't it great how all these seemingly unrelated programs interact even when their not running! argh Hope this helps you out.
