I have the latest version of dvd2svcd (1.0.9 build 3).
Sometime the entire process of producing SVCD disks
works fine.
Other times [with no changes in any program parameters],
it appears to go well, until tmpgenc starts to encode, at
which point the preview screen is entirely black!
If I let the program finish, the CD's I eventually burn
are also missing the video.
I've had the problem with previous versions of dvd2svcd (1.0.8)
as well.
Is this enough info for someone to diagnose?
If not, what additional info should I provide.
Or how can I diagnose myself?
Thanks.

preview screen is black until it hits 50%...in other words 1st pass you won't see. This is by design.
