  1. cant open mpeg2 files in tmpeg to cut them in half for cd use, why not? what do i need?

    What kind of error message are you getting, and how long have you had TMPGEnc?

  3. ok i did get to open it under merge and cut and but im getting "stream read error" at the end but it seems to be okay. prooblem though i set it to end at like 50 even and it ends at like 50:01 in the movie like a minute off how come?

    that is 1 frame - not 1 minute

    time code is in hours : minutes : sec : frames

    if it is : between sec and frames it is Non drop frame and if it is ; between sec and frames it is drop frame

    it will move cut to closest I frame (more or less - tmpgenc cut is not exact) for editing which is normal in most mpeg editors ..

    i stand corrected -- i just checked tmpgenc editor and it doesnt show frames (i dont use it) though it does elsewhere in program .. so skip the frames part above ..
