    I have used DVD2AVI to create a .d2v file and a .mpa file I have tried to use tmpgenc 2.5 Plus to create a mpeg file. The problem is I keep getting lots of horizontal line around rapid movement. I have tried setting the motion search precision to various options but the output still looks bad.

    I know don't know where to go from here and would appreciate any advice.

    Try to change from interlace to non-interlace
