just a quickie
can i put my old hollywood plus dvd decoder card to any use when encoding movie files to cut down on processing time orsomething similar like that
(dont need to use it as it was intended now as im running a p4 1.9 ghz machine)

nope, would be nice though. its a decoder not an encoder.
sell it or donate it to someone else like me. they are handy cards to have and the TV out is better than any video card. powerdvd is nice, but usually just wanna sit back on the couch and watch stuff on a big TV.
i will have to replace my dxr2 because software is not made anymore. i have been wanting the sigma xcard but not till I see one working and can give it a good test.
