  1. Hi,

    I want to convert a WAV with 48KHz to MP2 with 224kbit and 44KHz.
I tried using BeSweet with tooLame but everytime I try to start the screen flashed up and then I see BeSweet again and nothing happened.
With the tooLame GUI it's the same, but there I get an error which says: "3057: Variable could not be converted to a valid number" y=optSFRQ*2352/44.1
    WinBatch 32 2000C
    WIL Version: 3.0cbv

I need help, because I can't convert DivX to SVCD with sound without this. Cinema Craft Encoder produces just empty MP2-files...

does your wav play and sound ok?
    you used besweet--the gui?
    is your audio maybe ac3?
open your divx in virtual dub, and under file-->file properties
what does it say for audio codec?
if it's ac3, then change the file extension to .ac3, and use headac3he to convert to .mp2
--if none of the above is useful or accurate, provide more specifics about your file, and what you did
what are you askin' me for...
    I'm an idiot!

Use TMPG to convert your wav to .mp2.

  4. I have TMPGEnc Plus 2.58 and direct sound-conversion was disabled since 2.57. But it is still possible, but I haven't found out till now!!!

Ok, I did some clicks more and found out how to convert!!
I set tooLame as external decoder, so I think I get good quality files. Thx to all of you fellas!!!

I don't have 2.58, but it works up to and including 2.57. And the results are good even without the external decoder, if you experience any problems. 8)
