A newbie here. I want to make a dvd from my vacation movie, which I captured with Ulead DVD Moviefactory in DV avi format.

Using the Ulead DVD Moviefactory encoding to mpeg2, I have very jerky images, mainly when the camera moved during the taping.

What is the best encoding tool around these days to convert my DV Avi-files to mpeg2 for DVD ? Will TmpGenc do the job ? If yes, what settings to use for PAL ?

Thanks in advance for your advise.

    Gerrit
