    hi just want to know if i can convert my avi(640X272) to a widescreen vcd. all i can convert it to is normal size (352X240) and it looks stretched. not very good. is there any method of converting it to 640x272 to make it look widescreen? thanks.

    Use TMPGEnc, but make sure the output is correct.

    Settings > Advanced > Clip Frame > Arrange method

    I sent you to that area, as you can experiment with cropping, but the default setting should be "Full screen > Keep aspect ratio" this will set the output to have "Black borders" top and bottom, which you can zoom out on a widescreen TV.

    Maintain aspect ratio to avoid loosing left and right of the picture, or stretching screen.

    This is normaly a default setting..
