  1. any ideas on why tmpgenc will load mpeg2 video, but not the audio?

  2. I have been running into this same problem recently and I can't figure out why. When I Merge shorter mpg files into one large on and then play it back after the encode, it will show the video and no sound at all even though the original files all have sound. I have noticed though that after I encode them and then burn them to a svcd using nero, it will reencode them and my audio will play again.

  3. i did figure it out. you have to de-muliplex video, then use the original file for "video" and you use the audio file from de-multiplexing; for "audio". i don`t understand why you have to do that, but it works. audio was in sync with video, worked fine.
