How long does it take all of you to encode SVCD for a standard 1 and a half hour long movie? It takes me 5-7 hours on my 733 MHz and this seems way to long...(using TMPGenc)...should it take this long? Or is it the machine? Or the program? Also does anyone know a faster program than TMPGenc but I don't want to loose the excellent quality of TMPGenc, thanks.
Please input all information.

Sounds pretty fast for a 733MHz machine. I had 800Mhz and it took 6 to 10 hrs to do a VCD.
They say CCE is faster and Expenseve, but to really improve speed is to go to faster CPU.
I do almost real time encodes now with a 1.67Ghz machine.May the force be with you. -
i agree with Tbear. that's pretty darn quick.
