Is there a software that can convert AVI, ASF and other compressed files into VCD and SVCD without any or small quality lost and at the same time put the subtitles (from a *.txt or *.sub file) in the VCD or SVCD file? I mean the subtitles must be entered in the newcreated MPG file and they should not be in a separate one.
I just want to make my avi files playable on DVD players and at the same time keep subtitles onscreen. I tried to capture the AVI-s using a hardware TV-capturer but the quality of the captured movie turned to be really poor. That is why I am looking for a software solution of the problem.
Thank you,guys!
