    Hi

Can anyone please advice me on the following problem.

We made a tele serial on MiniDv in NTSC format. We converted the NTSC master into PAL format using analog cables. Dubbing and RR was synched to the PAL video. There was a significant quality drop in the video which may be due to analog conversion. Now I want to do two things:

    1. Synch the PAL sound to the NTSC master for North America by pulling up the PAL sound to suit the NTSC video.

    2. Digitally convert the NTSC to PAL and synch the existing PAL sound for Asia.

I have DV200 for capturing and Adobe premiere5.1 for editing on my system. The biggest question is : can I make the video conversion from NTSC to PAL and pull up the PAL sound to suit NTSC video using my PC without going to a professional?. Please guide me if possible.

    Thanks in advance

  2. Capture to your PC. Run Canopus' Format converted on it. Works Great. Dump to PAL dv and you should be goid.
I had to run this to convert some PAL DV files to NTSC for DVD creation...
