I try to convert footage that I took from my TRV9E digital camera onto SVCD. The footage is 704*576. I use TMPGEnc to create a MPEG-2 file. I burn this file using NERO to SVCD. File becomes 480*576 PAL.
If I play the disk in my Pioneer DV-350 the image on television is vertically squeezed.
I have tried lots of settings but the result remains the same.
What am I doing wrong and what could be a solution
Thanks
Peter

under advances set the input aspect ratio from 1:1 to 4:3 this should solve your problem.

Input and Output aspect ratio is 4:3 625 line PAL but I have tried with 16:9 as well which squeezes it even more.
