what program i should use to insert text OVER the image in an avi or mpeg file?
I want to use a signature in a mpeg i did, but dont really know where to start...

Dont do it !!
Place an intro at the start ! with something simple like Animation Shop 3 (Comes with PaintShop Pro)...
Oh, and it will load/save AVI (Frames) But make a new one to add, dont use what you have
