need some help splitting a file in two

i encoded a movie using tmpge or whatever program it is used to encode. basically i did not split the movie into two parts. how would i be able to do this now so that it will fit onto two cdrs?

If your using tmpgenc then click on file --> mpeg tools -- select the tab that says merge&cut. You can select where to cut first part and so on. pretty easy to do. 8)
