Hi,
I have been ripping and encoding for a while now on Windows 98, but I have recently upgraded to Windows 2000.
I have heard you can allocate memory for certain programs in win 2000, so thats why I upgraded but now it seems to take longer than it did on win 98.
I have upgrade the ram in the computer from 256 to 512mb but it seems that only 88mb of ram is being used using task manager.
So could someone tell me how to set up windows 2000 to make TMPG Enc use a lot more memory than 88mb.
Thanks
