  1. How do you make a photo cd that allows you to skip foward to a track by using the number keys on your remote. I have burned 3 photo cds all using nero that play perfectly on my apex 660. All 3 of them have 400+ tracks on them. 2 of them have an infinite pause between tracks, and 1 has a 10 second gap between each. Only problem is I can't manually select tracks to skip foward to(because its really annoying having to foward through 300+ pics). Whenever I press a number button other than 10+, a hand pops up in the corner of the screen and skips to the next track. The first photo cd I burned (the one with 10 sec gaps) worked with track selection, but won't do it anymore. There is nuthing wrong with the buttons either because they work find in the mp3 menu. So is there something I'm doing wrong when authoring the cd, or is there an option that I am not selecting?

  2. Please forgive me for writing such a bad first post. Yes, I am a n00b to these forums and to whole vcd scene plus, I was in a hurry to write it, so let me try explaining this again.

I have made three photo cds all using nero 5.5. Two of the disks had an infinite pause between tracks while the other had 10 second gaps. I can go fowards and backwards through the pictures one at a time, but it seems I am unable to move ahead 300 or so pictures at a time using the keypad on my remote just like you would when you select song 200 on an mp3 cd. This feature would be useful because 2 of the cds contain around 800 pictures and it would be a bit exausting scanning through each and every picture until I get to the one I want.

I have an Apex 660 and I authored the photo cds with Nero 5.5 by dragging and dropping jpegs into a VCD layout (preparing them takes a hella long time!). Am I authoring the cd wrong? If so, what is the best way to make a photo cd. Or, could it be an option on my Apex that I need to select. I think it might be this because on my first photo cd, I was able to input the track of the picture on the keypad, and It would bring that picture up. After that one time though, it hasn't seemed to work again.
