  1. What type of system would you sugest for video authoring? Mac/Apple or PC? I am kind of leaning towards the Mac/Apple side because of stability issues. I also went to an Apple store by me and a guy did a little tutorial for me and it seems real nice.

    Thoughts/comments?

    Also if you can suggest authoring software for each.

  2. Macs are pretty good at DV/DVD authoring/editing though PCs are more than reasonable now as well.

    For S/VCD authoring, it is still realistically PC only.

    I'm a mac user. There are tons of great software titles vailable for the mac. Many come with the computer. iMovie, and iDVD are both great. If you have the money DVD Studio Pro is great as are Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premire.
