I used VirtualDub and PICVideo codec to cature TV. The captured video is out of sync with the Audio. Any help to correctly setup the VirtualDub to get sync A/V will be appreciated.
When I used DivX codec or HUFFVY codec, I have the same problem.

I forget where exactly it is, but there is a setting in virtualdub that "says"
sync audio to video. while you're in capture mode go into all the menus till you find it, then tick off the box for yes. That should clear up your problem"The software said Win XP or better, so I Installed Linux" -
I've tried it. This did not solve the problem. The audio is still of sync.

what frame rate do you capture with? try one or more of the standards like 29.97 or 25 or 23.97
