I need the the original control byte/prom options for LG 5822P (region 4 if needed). Had the information for how to get a VCD to play on an LG 5822N, and one of my idiot mates has decided to 'custom' my player. its now stuck in black and white. Any help would be greatly appreciated as no doubt this has happened to others who have failed to write them down.
NOTE: if you do write them down put them in a safe place, mine were ripped up and eaten. (Since this i have been told by a few people are my friends really friends, some other stuff has happened too)
Thanks in advance

well, i cant help with the LG 5822P proms, but from what i can gather most of them are similar, so i can give you the defaults for the 5502p(region 4) ...you can always try them and see if it works.
here they are
41 55 00 ce 12 55 10 00
might not help, but theres no harm in trying right?I'm Not Really Here -
Thanks anyway greatanvil. Unfortunately that didn't fix the problem. Still must be wrong, found out he only touched 1,6,7 and possible eight. If anyone can else can help i would greatly be in debt to you. Thanks in advance
Or is there anyway to reset the player. eg comepetly make it forget anything done to it, like if some had the parental control. -
sorry i couldnt help. ive got sort of the same problem with mine, it only plays region 4 dvds in colour. any other region is in black and white.
