Questin about p2p!

Im hoping to leave my internet connect on for 72 hours straight and druing that time finish the downloading of the star wars movie im downloading is this possible. also im wondering how i can leave the internet on and leave the computer on stand by how can i do this note i have a external modem. please help?

It all depends on the speed that the other user is spitting the file out to you at and how fast you can recieve it. If you both have cable or DSL it is possible. Sometimes it can take several days to get a whole movie downloaded so there's no timeframe to it. And I do leave my comp on for the whole time i don't know if it goes into stand by mode or not .
