I have successfully made several VCDs with TMPGEnc, VCDEasy, and Nero. However, I used the Disk-at-once/96 option in Nero. This combined with a CD-Writer with a power calibration failure has lead to a lot of discs that I can play on a PC and DVD, but can't copy because of a checksum error on track 1. I have used chapter extractor to put the chapters in the right places, and I want to recover the chapters when I rebuild the VCDs. At this point I have only been able to extract the MPEG from the dat file and rebuild the VCD with VCDEasy.
Is there an easier way? Also how can I get the chapter information from the original VCD when I build the new disk.
