  1. right now, i have TMPGEnc version 2.58. My trial period has just expired and it says i must pruchase it to continue use. is there a TMPGEnc version which is free to use?

    Tmpgenc 2.58 is free, www.tmpgenc.net . But the MPEG2 encoding is not free so you must buy the tmpgenc plus version to get it, www.pegasys-inc.com .

    only the mpeg2 functions are disabled, for mpeg1 (VCD) its free to use.
    i am not sure,but i thin there is an old version of tmpgenc avalible, that also for mpeg2 use free. ( Tmpgenc 12a i think)

  4. but when i open up TMPGEnc, it says "your trial period has expired." then i have two options: Register or Exit. what should i do?
