i need help with my dvd burner

I am an extreme newbie at this. I have tried using the help guides but they never work for me. I can get dvds onto my computer using cladDVD xp 1.3. I can get them in one big file and i can watch them on my computer but Sonic MyDVD, which is what i use to burn dvds, wont let me use that type of file. Is there an easy way to convert the dvd to .avi .m2p .m2v .mpeg .mpg .mpv or .vbs? Those are the file types Sonic myDVD uses.

Ive also tried to use DVD Decrypter. I can copy the files onto my computer but when i try to use the ISO write, i get this error

if you use smartripper or dvd decrypter you can choose the stream processing mode and demux to file. this will give you an .m2v and an .ac3 file which most authoring packages will accept.
