SmartRipper 2.41 - Help Please

Hello, I'm new to all this so bare with me please. Here goes...

Here is what it says when I use Smart Ripper :

ASPI-Adaptor available
try to lunlock drive...
no ASPI access to this drive
switch to WinIO
test file access....

**cycles through a huge list**

VTS_01_2.V0B-> WinIO locked

Then a popup comes and says "Some files are still locked ! Try to unlock with a player.


I've tried playing the DVD on powerDVD, pausing the DVD and then running smartripper and I've tried installing the ASPI Layer 4.60 (as I read elsewhere in the Forum) but still this file is locked.

Does anyone have any ideas ??

I've had the same trouble and I've tried the same remedies. Let me know if you meet with success?

Well, I just formatted my C: Drive and re-installed everything.

I installed Force Aspi and I tried again....


Now I'm meeting with complete success.

TRY DVDDECRYTER AVAILABLE IN THE TOOLS ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE, IT APPEARS TO DO THE SAME.

I HAD PROBS WITH SMARTRIPPER ON MY PC RUNNING OS ME BUT NO PROBLEMS ON MY PC RUNNING XP. SO TURNED TO DVDDECRYTER ON THE PC RUNNING OS ME.

ALTHOUGH I DID GET SMARTRIPPER TO WORK ON MY PC RUNNING ME BY RUNNING SMARTRIPPER 1ST, WITH NO DVD IN THE DRIVE. THEN PLACING THE DVD IN THE DRIVE AND PLAYING IT A LITTLE THROUGH POWER DVD. THEN ENDING POWER DVD AND BROWSING FOR THE DVD USING THE BROWSE BUTTON TOP RIGHT OF SMARTRIPPER.

SEE HOW YOU GO THIS WAS JUST MY EXPERIENCE!
