    New to all this...
    If I have a .avi file and want to get it to a MPEG so I can burn it as a SVCD on Nero 5.5 can do I just need the TMPGEnc-Encoder to acheive this conversion or do I have to use a DivX codec program first?

    Send a message via ICQ to Nico... Send a message via MSN to Nico...
    If you have divx codec loaded on your computer (so if you can read the movie) they should open perfectly into TMPG... then you can convert it to MPEG-2 SVCD...
