WARNING !!

There is a NEW worm virus spreading the internet.

It will grab all your email addresses in your contacts and will send a pif file to all of them and when they open the file it will happen to them as well. I had 10 emails this morning trying to do this 2 me.

The Worm is cunning it grabs a file off your computer infects it, renames it to e.g ( letter.doc 2 letter.doc.pif )and posts itself over the net.

There is a message on the email which is:

"Hi! How are you? I send you this file in order to have your advice See you later. Thanks"

If you recieve this email delete it as soon as possible

I got it too. Luckily I was suspicious and deleted it

You should change your Explorer settings so you can SEE the file extension.

Open Windows (File) Explorer

1) View Menu selection
2) Options
3) View Tab
4) Uncheck the: "Hide MS-DOS file &extensions for file types that are registered" checkbox
5) And select the: "Show all files" Option button

Thats for Win95.

WinME is Tools, Folder Options, View etc.

98 is either like 95 or ME.
