I was looking at the CD writers page on here and wanted to check m ine against the list. However all mine says is
HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4120B
Device type: DVD/CD ROM DRIVES
Manufacturer: (Standard CD-ROM drives)
Location: Location 0(0)
How can I tell which mine is, as this doesnt give me any real info at all?
This is so I can look into the buffer under run problem that I might have.

I did a little research and there IS a manufacturer called HL-DT-ST and will pop up with several hits in most search engines. but he is right, it is part of LG/Goldstar.
