Yes, it's possible. You can get CD Autorun Programs from:
http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/
http://go.to/doom9/
I use one called Compact Disc Autorun 1.4f. It is a simple menu system in which you can have a picture on the left and buttons on the right.
I'm pretty sure you can find an autorun to install or launch a movie.
Actually, I think if you just put this in...
The AUTORUN.INF file:
[autorun]
open=autorun.exe (or the divx codec or an AVI)
label=MacGyver (whatever you want here)
icon=autorun.exe (the icon for the CD)
Of course if you set it up with the DivX codec, the codec will try to install EVERY time, so that could get annoying. However, setting it up to run an AVI should work pretty good. It's up to you whether you want a full menu or just a simple INI file.
Good luck, Timberland!

Some extra information that might come in handy...
All you need for an autoplay CD to play any file after inserting the CD is the file AUTORUN.INF in the root. It looks something like this:
[autorun]
icon=cd.ico
open="start my_movie.avi"
The command after "open=" indicates the program to run.
If you don't want to run a program but to open a video, audio or HTML file instead, you can use the commandline "START <filename>". The program START.EXE is supplied with Windows 9x and located in your WINDOWS/COMMAND directory.
The commandline above wil autoplay MY_MOVIE.AVI in the player that is associated with the AVI file type on your computer.
Hope this is of some help. Good luck!
