  1. Is it better than TMPGEnc and I heard that you need Adobe Photoshop 7.0 for it to work..is that true ??

    Also how do I make my Side picuture bigger ? It's too small to view ..

    why would you need photoshop, an image editor, for an mpeg encoder.

  5. You know why I was asking genius because when I tried to open it it woulrdn't saying something about Adobe that';s why I was asking...and I think it is Adobe Premiere..I have it anyway I was just asking whether or not to switch from TMPGEnc to Panasonic

  6. I have the standalone version and its a lot better than TMPGenc for VCD's. Although it is a bit of a pain to use. Never managed to get the plugin to work with ANY host application.

    Try the DVDx1.7 version with the panasonic plugin 2.5, this works every time, i try it.

    panasonic mpeg 1 encoder vs. tmpgenc

    i mean that the panasonic pruduce smoother pictures, and you get less macro blocks, than with tmpgenc.but tmpgenc produce the sharper pictures and more details.

    My favorite is panasonic, because i dont want to see, too much macro blocks, but havent tested the new tmpgenc 2.58 version yet.
    The last verion on my pc, is currently tmpgenc 2.53.xx plus

  8. So TMPGEnc doesn't get rid of Macro Blocks that good..you know Ive noticed that in the New 2.58 Version...I thought it was just the file..Thanks for the info...
