Well this mite not be the rite place for a question like this but I don’t know were the rite place it. I want to put a DVD onto a PDA. I need to be able to convert my DVD into AVID, DO, MPEG-1 or QuickTime format. I know how to turn these formats into the format for my PDA but how do I get the DVD into this format?
Thank you for your time,

This is a joke, right?
What PDA can store some 1000 MB of data?
If this isn't... see the guides sections on the left about ripping and converting a DVD. -
You can use PocketDivx to watch movies on your PDA if it is a PocketPC
, Palm Pilots simply cannot do this. Go get it at www.projectmayo.com. After doing this you need to re-encode your movies to 320 X 240 resolution, 15fps, and mono audio. You can get more information on the Project Mayo forums, there are sections dedicated to PocketDivx.

My Palm Pilot has up to 128 Megabytes of free storage and CAN watch movies (I have done it before). I will look at the guides. If any one knows how to convert to any of the formats that I specified above pleas post a link.
