i want to broadcast with aiw radeon
windows media encoder 7.1 recongnize my card
(rage theater ) but failed to start encoding
( some driver fault....)
also i would like ati capture to be recognise as web-cam
( my real web-cam work with media7.1 encoder)
somebody can help me

try running the capture program that comes wiht windows media encoder... don't actually capoture anything, just run it, then run the media encoder/server program and start a session. It is a known bug and a known workaround

i almost find that ,but never be able to find the
necesary application on windows jungle !
there is almost 10 possibility of download
with directx sdk , some are 300 meg !
the "amcap" specific .exe file is hard to find
can you point me to the specific download file
or send me the file (freeware=ok)

also , forget to mention
i use win98se
i have amd athlon 1.2 gig
system is optimize for capture
( mmc svcd or dvd without frame drop )
try to broadcast with win,media 7.1

i first open wmcap.exe that came with
media 4.1 tool kit and did not start capture
than try to broadcast , stil not work
( system freeze )
or other apps. stil dont recognize the capture device
( web-cam apps )
