after I use dvd decrypter wat encoder alows subtitles to encode the movie?

I have a p4 2.4ghz 512 ddr ram 16x sony dvd rom


any recommendations into wat programs i should use to rip dvds

I used smartripper & it keeps on searching for a damn key for this particular dvd wierd I used dvd decrypter it works fine but when i tried to open the movie with dvdx theres this error saying "NO CORRESPONDING VOB FILE FOUND".

please help
