    Im using Smart Ripper / DVD2AVI / TMGPEnc / Nero

    My question is, how do I get the subtitles onto the vcd?

    use in virtualdub the subtitle filter (vobsub)

    and frameserve to tmpeg

  5. flaskmpeg also allows subtitles....

    you can frameserve from flaskmpeg into tmpgenc using avisynth

    once you've created your .d2v file...you load it into vfapi proggie that makes a .avi out of it.

    this .avi allows you to load it into vdub. using the vobsub filter in vdub, you can frameserve into tmpgenc (through vdub/vobsub) and get your subtitles.
