Ripping is when you want to copy vob files from your DVD to your hard drive so forget about it since your files are downloaded and, most likely, they are Mpeg or DivX (Avi) format. You need to encode (convert) your files to Mpeg1 (VCD standard) if you wanted to make VCD or Mpeg2 if you want SVCD. To encode AVI/Mpeg to VCD go here: http://www.vcdhelp.com/tmpgenc.htm (if you are encoding AVI to VCD then for perfect result go here http://www.vcdhelp.com/divxtovcd.htm#audio). To encode to SVCD go here: http://www.vcdhelp.com/tmpgencsvcd.htm 8)
