Hope someone can explain/help..
I have captured with ATI All in Wonder card MPEGII 15.00Mbps yada yada.. filename : source.mpg
I want to reencode the above MPEGII file from 15.00 Mbps to SVCD standard.. (I think 2052? something )
When I select the source file (source.mpg) TMPGEnc does not automatically detect the audio source within the same source.mpg file. thus after a conversion I have a new MPG file but without any audio?
I have found that with some diddling with TMPGEnc I can De-Multiplex the source.mpg file and create a video and audio file separtely then it will work.
I am wondering why TMGEnc does not automatically use the one file source.mpg for the video and audio? It does work sometimes, but I can not determine the specifics that cause it to work.
???
Any input would be appreciated.. Thanks.
Blahh..
