    Hi all..
    Im converting avi files to mpg with TMPGENC. but Icant watching them on the cd player.
    I can watch only dat files on the cd player so I want convert avi filesto dat files How can I do ? thanks for your answer.. I love vcdhelp web pages..

    I want convert my avi ,mpg files dat .because I cant watch its on the video player.but I cant find yet convert software..

    Use VCDEasy to conver .mpg files to CD-R image format. Once burnt the disk will contain a dat file.

    so .avi -> tmpgenc -> .mpg -> vcdeasy -> cd-r & .dat

    A DAT FILE IS A MPEG FILE THAT WAS BURNED AS A VCD USING SOME BURNING SOFTWARE.

    IM NOT SURE WHY YOU CANT PLAY THE MPEG FILE? IS IT AN MPEG2 FILE IF SO YOU NEED TO GET A MPEG2 PLAYER. - I LIKE TO USE ELECARD Elecard MPEG2 Player v. 1.35 Shareware - GET IT HERE.
